General Facts

Date and FrequencyThis test have more than 350 test centers in 117 countries. You can book your tests at short notice, with frequent tests taking place throughout the year.
Center and Admit CardThe Test Administrator will check your identification and take your palm vein scan and signature. Please note the electronic signature you provide is legal acceptance of the agreement you have read.
ResultScores are typically available within 48 hours, but may take up to 5 days. You will receive an email informing you that your score report is ready.

Sections

There are 20 different question types in the test, ranging from multiple choice through to essay writing. Make sure you review the different question formats ahead of your test, as each part has different types of questions.

Reading
29-30 minutes

This part of the test contains five different question types, and test your ablility to read academic English. One item type assesses both writing anf reading skills.

Speaking
54-67 minutes

This part of the test contains seven different question types, and test both your ablility of speaking and writing skills, and will use English you might hear in an academic environemnt.

Writing
54-67 minutes

This part of the test contains seven different question types, and test both your ablility of speaking and writing skills, and will use English you might hear in an academic environemnt.

Listening
30-43 minutes

This part of the test contains eight question types and test your listening skills, through a series of audio and video clips.

It is accepted throughout the world by universities, government and professional bodies. It judge the speaking, writing, listening and rading skills.		It is suitable for those who are not able to visit test centers. It is accepted by the universities for application only.

What is a good score for PTE?
